Evangeline Walks
Meet Evangeline...
She was originally inspired by one of her teachers who did the Ride to Conquer Cancer.
Only this is not an organized corporate fundraiser, this is just a little girl walking a long way to try and make a big difference.
What does she do?
For the past three years, on Thanksgiving Weekend, she has walked from her Grandparents home in Binbrook (just past Hamilton) all the way to our home in Toronto. She started doing this when she was only 10 years old!
That is 100km in 3.5 days!
This year, for the first time, Evangeline is inviting others to walk with her and do their own fundraising!
1km, 5km, 10km, whatever you feel comfortable walking!

Evangeline has a goal to personally raise $15,000 this year,
but with your help, she hopes the Event will raise $20,000!
Her why?
Since she was a young child, she has been passionate about supporting the unhoused! This could be giving spare change, buying items at the grocery store, giving bags with warm socks, fruit, snacks and personal notes or helping her mom with her fundraisers.
Who is Covenant House Toronto?
Covenant House is the largest agency in Canada serving youth who are homeless, trafficked or at risk. Covenant House is inclusive, intentional and impactful.
This amazing organization helps meet the emerging needs of our youth with a comprehensive youth-driven programming centered on unconditional love, absolute respect and relentless engagement.

She loves how this organization helps to protect and rebuild lives, giving youth opportunities she knows she already has.
